They must be at least 12 years old, display good behavior and have a cell phone. However, we normally recommend parents accompany children. » Can I smoke at Shakers?
We are a non-smoking facility. » Can I bring my pet into Shakers?
No. We are an animal free facility. Please keep in mind we have almost no shaded parking. » Are there family packages?
Our value day passes offer value to families. In the summer we typically offer a family package. We also sell annual passes October through March which are THE BEST value. Please check our homepage for current offerings. » What kind of deals do you have?

Visa, Mastercard & American Express. » Does Shakers accept checks?
No. However we accept direct debit. » Is there an ATM machine on site?
Yes. » Can we bring outside food or drink into Shakers?
No. We have a concession that offers a variety of food and beverage options. » Does Shakers have a drinking fountain?
No. Beverages are available at the Concession. » Does Shakers serve alcohol?
Yes. Shakers is a licensed facility similar to a restaurant. Please keep in mind that once you purchase alcohol you can no longer use the go karts. » Does Shakers have TV’s for sporting events, etc.?

No. » What is the accident policy on all attractions?
All guests use the attractions at their own risk. » Are guests required to sign waivers?

In the event that management makes the decision to close an attraction due to inclement weather, guests may exchange their outdoor attraction tickets for one of the following items:

Yes. The first 9 holes which are played twice. » What if I hit a ball in the water?
If a person is playing properly, this should happen very infrequently. However, it it does, ask for another ball at the front counter. » Is there a senior citizen rate?
No. » How long does it take to play a round of mini-golf?
Usually about 45 minutes. » Can I pass people that are playing slow?
You may politely ask them if you could go ahead or find a Shakers attendant who could ask for you. » How many can play in a group?
The maximum in a group is 4 people. However, if the course is very empty, exceptions might be made. » Can I hit out of the rocks or water?
Never hit out of the rocks or water. Rules call for you to take a penalty stroke when you land in any hazard. » What is proper etiquette on the course?
No one should ever swing the putter back as if it is a driver or an iron. Always use a short stroke. Also, each person should hit the ball off the tee area first. Then all players should proceed to the hole area where each one hits, first one hitting that is farthest away and so on. No hitting or pounding of putters on rocks or water is ever permitted. All guests should proceed along the walkways and not over flowerbeds and rock areas. » What is the latest time that I can begin a round of mini-golf?
You must start your Round at least 45 minutes before closing time. » Is the mini-golf course open year-round?
It is normally open Spring through to Fall. Call for availability during Winter or inclement weather. » What are your height requirements to ride the Go-karts?
Kid Kart driver must be between 40” and 52” tall Rookie Kart driver must be between 52” and 58” tall Pro Kart driver must be over 58” tall Passenger in a Double Kart must be 40” or taller Please see our Go-karts attraction page for height requirements. » How fast do the go-karts go?
Approximately 18 km per hour. The engines are 9 horse power Hondas. We know, it seems like they go a lot faster, but that’s because of the banked track! » Do I need parental permission to ride go-karts?
You can ride if you meet the height requirements. However, all riders ride at their own risk! » Can I ride a double kart?
Yes. You can ride it alone if you meet requirements. » Will I be instructed on how to drive a go-kart?
There is always a pit crew at the Go-karts that will instruct you on the rules and regulations as well as kart operation instructions. As you enter the pit area after your ride is over, you will slow down and be guided by the pit crew into the pit area. All rules will be strictly enforced and anyone that is misbehaving or not following the rules will be asked to leave the go-kart area immediately. No further rides would be allowed. » How long is a go-kart ride?

They are normally open in season (summer months) but are also open throughout the fall and spring months weather permitting.
» Can I save my tickets?
Yes, and you can use them anytime. » How much does each game cost?
Games vary from 33 cents to 1 dollar per play. » Are there any game play specials?
If you purchase $20 in game play, you will receive an additional $3.50 for free. This can be purchased at the the front counter or the game play kiosk.
» Can we exchange tickets for more game play?
No. » Can we purchase prizes or items at the redemption counter?
No, tickets only. » Can we pay the difference for prizes at the redemption counter?
No. You can save your tickets and accumulate for future prize redemptions. » Can we use game play value for attraction tickets?
No. » Can we return unused game play value?
No. But you can keep your player card and use it on your next visit. » When are the games open?

It depends on what games each person chooses. Games vary from 33 cents to 1 dollar per play. » How long is a laser tag game?
The game itself is played for 7 ½ minutes. » How many can play at one time?
Up to 20. » Can anyone play?
Anyone can play who is comfortable in the laser tag vest. » Is the game safe?
Yes, if all the rules are followed. » How do you keep score of game?
The points you accumulate during your game will show on your laser gun at the end of the game. » Do I need to book a time to play laser tag?
No. Our laser tag works on a first come first served basis. You simply wait in line for your turn. » What requirements are there to use the climbing tower?
The climber must be between 40 – 250lbs. » How are the climbers belayed?
We use an auto-belay system. » What is the level of difficulty?
The climbing tower has 4 routes. Each route has a different level of difficulty from easy to intermediate. » What type of shoes are required.
You are required to have runners or solid hiking sandals. Crocs are permitted but flip flops are not. » What is an Indoor Playground?
The Shakers Indoor Playground is a larger then life climbing gym. It consists of multiple levels, obstacles and a huge slide to challenge energetic children who are a max. height of 54”(usually a 9 year old). » How is the Indoor Playground supervised?
Parents/guardians must supervise their own children. » Are socks required to play in the Indoor Playground?
Yes, Socks are required for hygiene purposes. » What are the parties available?
We several different birthday party packages for all ages. Please see the Parties page for details. » Can I bring my own cake to a birthday party?
Yes, a birthday cake is the only outside food we allow into Shakers. » How long does a party usually last?
This will depend on the party package and number of children attending. Usually a party is a minimum of 2 1/2 – 3 hours. » How many people are needed for a party?
Up to 10 can be included for the total base cost of a birthday party. You can add guests for an add-on fee. » Should I tip the party host?
If you choose to you may but you are not required to. » How far ahead of the party should I book it?
Generally, at least 3 weeks ahead. » What does a party consist of?
Please refer to the Parties page. » Is Shakers a good place to bring 2-4 year olds?
Shakers is a great place for people for all ages. » Does my deposit count towards my party and is it refundable?
Yes, it is credited against your party. All deposits for parties are non-refundable. » Can I increase or decrease the amount of guests that I booked for a party or an event?
Yes. Please let us know as soon as you know the change in your booking number. The time and date of your booking may have to change to accommodate the number of guests. We cannot reduce the price of the base party package. » Are the party tables decorated?
Yes. Shakers will decorate your party tables with kraft paper & crayons, balloons, plates, cups, napkins and utensils. You are more than welcome to bring in your own party supplies. Please let us know in advance. Bringing your own party decorations will not decrease your party charge. » Do you provide invitations?
We will provide you with free invitations that are in postcard form with our address and map so that you may deliver those to your guests. » Is there seating for adults?
Yes. We want to make sure your all guests are comfortable so we set aside seating for guests not participating in the birthday package for no additional charge. » Is there a deposit required?
Yes. We do require a non-refundable deposit. We can take your deposit over the phone with a credit card or you can come to Shakers and make your deposit within three days of making your reservation. We do not accept personal checks. » Do you supply a cake or can I bring my own?
Currently we do not supply cakes. You may bring your own home made or store purchased cake. We request that is contains no nuts or is not an ice cream cake. » Can I take my leftover food and cake?
We are more than happy to box any leftovers and store them in our refrigerator until you leave. » Can I bring in outside food?
We do not allow outside food. Birthday cake is the only exception. » Do we eat or play first?
Either or both! You simply check-in at our party check-in counter first. Once you have paid the balance we issue your wristbands and play cards. You can arrive prior to your party room time to play and you can stay after. Play is unlimited with our packages! » Can I order additional food off the menu?
Absolutely. We can send you a listing of all concession items and food trays that you may add to your package. » What's the minimum number of guests?
You must pay for at least ten guests to participate in the package. There is no extra charge for additional seating for non participating guests; however the party has a max capacity of 20 guests for your party. » Do you have family reunions at Shakers?
Yes. Please contact us for details on planning your reunion! » Do you have lock-ins for the youth?
Yes, we host lock-ins. Please contact us for details. » What kind of corporate parties are available?
We host everything from small casual outings to 500+ guest special events. Please contact us for details. » Are there any special deals for group functions?
Yes. We have group rates beginning at 15 guests and special packages. Contact us for further details for your specific group function. » Can Shakers be rented out for a private function?
